The Healing Power of Connection—to Nature, Meaning, Self, and Relationship
Who I am and the work I do…
I am a therapist, an admiring aunt to the children in my life, and a seeker - devoted to exploring the healing power of deep listening, compassion, creativity, and connection to life, spirit, and nature.
Who I Work With…
I work with adults navigating mental/emotional/spiritual health and wellbeing, while acknowledging the larger contexts contributing to collective, cultural, and societal dis-ease, dis-order, and despair.
Issues/themes I commonly work with:
Anxiety, depression, grief
Personal growth and spirituality
Life transitions
Self-compassion and confidence
Vocation, meaning, and/or life direction
Deepening/enriching practices in creativity, authentic expression, self-awareness, and mindfulness.
I support and strive for the safety of the LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and immigrant communities and seek to support justice and peace for marginalized and oppressed people.
How I Work…
My work stems from my training as a therapist & nature-based healing practitioner. It is informed by my experience and studies in psychology, mindfulness, spirituality, wisdom traditions, eco-therapy, nature-based education, ceremony, divination, and archetypal/mythic/symbolic meaning-making.
My work has to do with reconnecting people to their own inner wisdom, their capacity for self-compassion and healing, discovering purpose, meaning, and support.
These are difficult times we are living in collectively, though every individual’s experiences are unique. I believe these times call us to respond with courage and compassion. Courage to be bold and also to be gentle. Compassion for our neighbors and also for ourselves.
Affordability…
For therapy appointments, I currently take BCBS and Medicaid/Green Mountain Care insurance.
I also offer all my services on a sliding scale basis in an effort to make it affordable and accessible.
